INCLUSION

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF COUNTRY

Tasha Rui acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land upon which we work, the Gadigal people of the Eora nation, and the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

SIZE INCLUSIVITY

We’re on a journey towards designing resort and swim that is enjoyable for a wide range of body types and sizes to wear while enjoying our great Australian environment.

Currently we have designs we back from an Australian size 8/Small towards a size 16/XL and accommodate cup sizes A to D. Our fit guide supports you to find the best fit.

We take size inclusivity seriously, and this is why we are working with our team of expert designers to design our resort and swim styles to compliment, flatter and support the figure in the best and most eco possible ways. We will bring these to market when we have a design that works and we have been rigorously tested them with our user groups.

GENDER INCLUSIVITY

Most of our resort and swim range is designed to support those who identify as women.

We are not ruling out designing pieces for those who identify as male, or for the wider LGBTQI+ community, helping them feel comfortable in their skin. We’re focused on scaling sustainably at this stage. If this is something that you would like Tasha Rui to explore further as we expand our grow our brand and our ranges, please reach out and tell us.

OUR TALENT & REPRESENTATION

Inclusive and culturally diverse representation is important to us and we’ll always make sure our models and talent showcase the beauty of our diverse community. This is reflected in models and performers we choose to partner with for marketing and documentation of our garments.

We aim to represent an range of sizes with equal representation of the BIPOC community in our marketing materials.

Tasha Rui has a minimal ‘touch up’ policy on editing of our marketing materials, just enough to ensure that our talent are looking their best while celebrating their natural beauty.

CULTURALLY DIVERSE INCLUSIVITY

We aim to ensure representation of the BIPOC community in our marketing materials and social media footprint.

We design our garments with a range of skin tones in mind.

Ways we design with cultural diversity in mind includes, developing a bank of of textile designs with colours aimed compliment a wider range of skin tones. We double line our swimsuits for modesty, for all sorts of reasons we want you to be shining bright when you’re poolside at the resort - not worrying about peek through.

We’re not saying we have all the bases covered yet, but we are working towards our goal of designing with cultural diversity in mind, inclusive of the BIPOC community.

GIVING BACK

As part of our social commitment to give back, we run intermittent campaigns to contribute to community. Our favourite charities are providing to support and care for people and the planet. We have recently made contributions to our favourite charities.
