ECONYL® Regenerated Nylon is made by recovering nylon waste and turning it into virgin quality nylon yarn for the fashion and interior industries.
Aquafil are an Italian company that for 50 years has been a leader in the production of synthetic fibres. For the last 30 years however, Aquafil have had circular economy front of mind with their approach to fibre production. In 2011, ECONYL® Regenerated Nylon came to the table as a model that allowed Aquafil to regenerate raw materials from waste. Recycled Embrace 2.0 polyester liner has been developed using recycled Polyester REPREVE® yarn and is Global Recycle Standard (GRS) certified. The yarn is extruded from PET bottles destined for landfill and still has the performance benefits of your standard Polyester which is quick drying and hard wearing, along with the added benefits of contributing to saving our environment.
