Step one: fold your wrap/scarf in half lengthwise to make it thinner
On a clean surface, lay your wrap/scarf flat and then fold it on top of itself so that the wrap/sarf is folded in half. Fold the wrap/scarf so that the printed side of the textile is showing on the outside.
Run your fingers along the fold to press it down and hold the fold in place.
Hot tip! We recommend folding the wrap/scarf again with the label in the inside (so that it doesn’t pop out when you are done).
Step two: tie the wrap/scarf around the end of the bag handle where you want the knot
Lift the handle on your bag up and hold it in place as you slide your wrap/sarf between the handle and the bag. Pull it downwards so that the wrap/sarf is resting on the bottom of the handle. If you do it the other way, it is fine, but gravity will rearrange the knot for you.
Step three: tie your knot
Pull on both ends of the wrap/sarf and tie a standard over and under knot. Just like tying your shoelaces. Pull it firmly to hold the knot in place, but not to tight that you damage your wrap/scarf.
Step four: tie a final knot or bow
Pull on both ends of the wrap/sarf and tie a standard over and under knot. Same again, except this time you want to style your final tie for presentation.
Option one: tie a knot: If you want to finish with a knot, then as you tie the knot, arrange the pattern so that the top of the knot is showing the beautiful pattern and colours of the wrap/scarf.
Option two: tie a cute bow: If you want to finish with a bow, then as you tie the knot with the ends going through the loop, keep the loops large while tightening the knot. Step five: finesse your knot or bow
Adjust your knot or bow so that it looks super cute. Flatten out any folds and creases as much as possible to improve presentation. Now go out and have fun with your new très chic look!
